SEIU Retirees Ossie Davis Chapter of Miami Dade

As members of SEIU, we saw firsthand how uniting helped us win the improvements we needed in our jobs like better benefits and higher wages.  We are continuing to make our voices heard on key issues that affect us all like:

SEIU retirees in Florida taking a brief break in their fight for justice .

  Preserving Social Security

  Quality care in our hospitals and nursing homes

  Economic and social justice

In the spirit of our brother, Ossie Davis, who passed away February 4, 2005, we have renamed our chapter to keep his vibrant spirit alive. He was not only an actor, but an activist, playwright and union supporter.
